Jiří Skřivan, MD, PhD, is an ENT instructor and lecturer in otosurgery, skull base surgery, cochlear implantation and Baha surgery (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Malta, Palestine, Kuwait and Oman).

  • 27 years of experience in Cochlear Implants (Re)Habilitation clinical team;
  • Senior Lecturer as Adjunct Professor – 27 years of lecturing in Psychology and SLP graduations courses;
  • Certificate of WE Listening, Inc. in Auditory Verbal Therapy after 2012;
  • Interests – deafness, cochlear implantation, auditory verbal education, early habilitation of children with hearing impairment and their families; family centered intervention

Profile Pedro Brás da Silva

✔Speech and Language Therapist and the 1st Specialist in Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS) Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist in Portugal, since 2018.

✔He has been working in the Hearing, Language and Speech area for 20 years, having spent the last 16 years working with children and young people with deafness, technology users hearing, in mainstream public schools.

Former lecturer in the Speech Therapy and Audiology Course at the Superior Health School of Oporto Polytechnic Institute) between 2004 and 2017, having also taught postgraduate courses in the area.

✔Founding member of the Hearing Department of the Portuguese Speech Therapy Society (2015-2017), currently the General Secretary of GRIS (Group of Screening and Intervention in Deafness) and AGBell Association Professional Member.

✔Since 2012, he has been working specifically with the families of babies, children and young people / adults, currently serving at the Center for Deafness, Vertigo and Tinnitus at Hospital Lusíadas Porto, with face-to-face support and by teletherapy.
